PIP4 (Programmify Intensive Program) is a 60-day, AI-powered, team-based internship for developers, designers, and creators across Africa. Interns work in squads to build real products: 5 themed projects plus one solo 24-hour hackathon challenge, all using modern AI tools and open-source technologies.

Anyone passionate about building is welcome! This includes developers, designers, data scientists, content creators, or even tech enthusiasts. You don't need to be a pro, but you should be ready to learn fast and collaborate in teams.

Basic knowledge in your focus area helps (coding, design, writing, etc.), but it's not mandatory. Our squads mix skill levels so everyone grows together.

You'll join a squad with 4 to 6 members of different skills. Over 60 days, you'll:

• Build 5 themed projects
• Join one solo 24-hour hackathon challenge
• Write devlogs and share demos
• Pitch your products publicly

All PIP4 internships are completely remote. You can participate from anywhere, as long as you have a reliable internet connection.

Absolutely. Many interns go on to lead projects, mentor new participants, join our alumni network, and collaborate on future Programmify Labs initiatives. You'll also connect with industry leaders and gain skills that go far beyond the program.

The internship is free to join. Our goal is impact, not profit.

Yes. Each squad is guided by experienced mentors who've led past PIP editions. You'll also get feedback from industry professionals.

Expect to commit 10 to 15 hours per week. The program is remote, so you can work from anywhere.
